All Steal An Egg Mutations and Multipliers (2026)

Steal An Egg mutations are the fastest way to raise a pet's income without hatching a rarer pet. A Rainbow mutation alone makes a pet earn 3.5 times its base rate, and size stacks on top of that.

The hard part is that most mutations don't roll naturally. They come from event shops, consumables, and machines that appear and disappear with each update.

This list covers every Steal An Egg mutation with its multiplier and source. It also explains the income formula, consumables, fusing, and the new Spectral Mutation.

All Steal An Egg Mutations and Multipliers

These are the mutations with multipliers confirmed by the fan wiki and current guides. The table is sorted from the highest multiplier to the lowest.

Silver, Golden, and Rainbow are the only mutations that roll on normal eggs. The Fuse Machine can also produce pets with them, and Admin Abuse events can hand out mutated eggs.

How Steal An Egg Mutations Affect Income

A mutation multiplies a pet's base income, and the pet's size is a separate bonus on top. The fan wiki gives this formula for final income.

• Final income = base income × mutation multiplier × size multiplier.
• Size comes from the pet's weight compared with its hidden base weight.
• A pet at 100 times its base weight earns about 17 times its base income.
• At 200 times base weight it's about 23 times, and at 1,000 times it's about 45 times.

Size and color are rolled separately at hatch, so any mutation can land on a huge pet. A Rainbow pet at 100 times base weight earns about 59.5 times its base rate, since 17 × 3.5 = 59.5.

Natural Steal An Egg Mutations

Natural mutations can appear on any egg you steal from a biome. These are the three you can roll without an event.

Eggs on the map reset every five minutes, so check every biome you can reach for a mutated egg. Golden is the best value to hunt, since it's four times more common than Rainbow and still gives x2.5.

How to Use a Steal An Egg Mutation Consumable

Fractured, Scrambled, Enchanted, and Spectral all come as consumables you apply to an egg. They work the same way, even though each one is bought with a different event currency.

1. Earn the event currency, like Boss Tokens, Samples, or Souls.
2. Buy the consumable from its event shop.
3. Place the egg you want to mutate in your pen.
4. Apply the consumable to that egg.
5. Check the egg after it's used, since most consumables only have a 10% or 25% chance.

Event Steal An Egg Mutations Explained

Each event mutation has its own currency or quest. These are the steps for each one.

• Fractured: A Rift opens on the map every 30 minutes. Defeat the Overlord inside for Boss Tokens, then buy a Mutation Shard in the Boss Shop. Boss Mastery rewards also include eggs with Fractured already applied.
• Scrambled: Every 30 minutes during the Dr. Scramble event, drones invade the map. Destroy them for Samples, then buy the Scrambled Mutation for 475 Samples in the Experiment Shop.
• Parasite: Infested eggs with a purple glow spawn from the Snow biome onward. Feed five of them to the Hungry Monster, and its chest has a 1.5% chance to drop a Parasite Egg.
• Enchanted: Finish Wisp's quests in the Enchanted Forest to reach Stage 4 and claim a free Butterfly Net. Catch 240 Emerald, 115 Sapphire, 40 Amethyst, and 1 Radiant Butterfly, then trade them at the Enchanted Mutation Shrine.
• Bloom and Spirit Bloom: Deposit a Crane to unlock the Sakura Incubator in Cherry Blossom, then charge it with crystals from the trees. A fully charged incubator gives the better Spirit Bloom odds.

Spectral: The New Steal An Egg Halloween Mutation

The Halloween Dimension update added the Spectral Mutation on October 17, 2026. It comes from the Phantom Express, which you unlock through Echo's Memories quest.

1. Finish Echo's Memories and the Haunted Rod challenge to earn the Phantom Express Ticket.
2. Board the Phantom Express, which arrives every 30 minutes.
3. Vacuum spirits on the train to collect Souls.
4. Trade Souls at the Spirit Shrine for a Spectral Mutation Shard.
5. Apply the shard to any egg for a 25% chance at Spectral.

Echo's four items are spread across the Halloween map, and the Chewed Bone near the Haunted Swamp pier is the hardest to find. Spectral's income multiplier hasn't been revealed in game or by the developers yet.

Fusing Pets With Steal An Egg Mutations

The Fuse Machine combines three pets into one, and mutations can carry over. Fusing three pets with the same mutation keeps that mutation on the new pet.

The fused pet can also come out larger, and size multiplies income separately from the mutation. That makes fusing three Golden pets a reliable way to turn spare duplicates into one stronger earner.
